How to Buy and Sell USDT in Canada

I'm often asked how one buys and sells (cashes out) USDT in Canada so I thought I'd make a section specifically on this. Check out the tutorial videos below on how to do so. Below that, I've also written out the process.

Buying USDT in Canada

To buy USDT in Canada, follow these steps:

Create Accounts

Sign up for Coinbase or Kraken and Bitunix.
Use the links to get $30 in BTC with Coinbase, $75 in BTC with Kraken and to save 25% on trade fees on Bitunix.

Fund Your Coinbase or Kraken Account

Deposit cash via e-Transfer by completing the request sent by the exchange.

Buy USDC on Coinbase or Kraken

After funding your account, enter the amount you'd like to purchase.
Choose USDC from the exchange's coin list.
Review your order and confirm your purchase.

Transfer USDC to Bitunix

Look for a "send crypto" option on Coinbase or Kraken.
Go to Bitunix, hover over the wallet icon and select "Deposit."
Select USDC and choose the Solana (network) to get your wallet address.
Copy the wallet address and paste it when asked where you'd like to send your USDC to.
Select the Solana network.
Enter in the amount you'd like to send to Bitunix.
Confirm your send details.

Convert USDC to USDT on Bitunix

Once USDC is received on Bitunix, hover over "Spot."
Enter "USDC" in the search box.
Select the USDT/USDC pair.
Select "Sell", and enter in the amount of USDC you'd like to sell.
Click “Sell USDC.”

In less than 5 minutes, you can go from cash in your bank account to having USDT in your Bitunix account. You can then withdraw that USDT to wherever.

Selling USDT in Canada

To sell USDT in Canada, follow these steps:

Create Accounts

Sign up for Ndax and Bitunix.
Use the link to get a $15 bonus after a $100 trade on Ndax. Use the link to save 25% on trade fees on Bitunix.

Send USDT to Your Bitunix Account

Log in to Bitunix.
Hover over the "wallet" icon in the top right corner and click “Deposit."
Select "USDT" and select the network your USDT is on.
Send your USDT to the wallet address given.

Buy USDC on Bitunix

After receiving your USDT, hover over "Spot" and enter USDC in the search box next to “Spot.”
Select "Market order."
Enter the amount of USDC to purchase and select “Buy USDC.”

Transferring USDC to Ndax

On Ndax, click the “Wallet” tab.
Select USDC and select "Receive."
Select "Binance Smart Chain (BEP20)" as the network.
Copy the address given.
Go to Bitunix, hover over the “wallet” icon, and click “Spot Account.”
Look for USDC and select "Withdraw."
Select USDC and Binance Smart Chain as the network.
Paste the wallet address that was given by Nodal.
Enter in the amount that you want to withdraw.
Select “Withdraw,” and enter in the security codes.

Sell USDC for CAD on Ndax

Once USDC is received on Ndax, go to “Trade” on the dashboard.
Select USDC/CAD.
Select "Sell."
Enter in the amount you want to sell in "Order Size" and select "Place Sell Order."

Withdrawing CAD from Ndax

Select "Wallet."
Select "Send."
Select either "EFT" or "INTERAC E-TRANSFER"
Fill in the required details
Confirm the request through the e-mail Ndax sends.

In less than 30 minutes, you can go from USDT to cash in your bank account.
